For too long, high-speed flight has always been reserved for the military or the ultra-wealthy. The ordinary passenger has been flying on subsonic transport since the 1900s. Wang Flight Systems exists to change that.
We have established the foundation for our multi-stage roadmap, advancing our initial research phase and seeking pre-seed financing to scale high-speed flight from subscale charters and narrowbodies to our ultimate objective: the Hypersonic Widebody Civilian Transport.
Across every phase of development, our focus remains absolute. Our aircraft are built for airline operations, catered towards mass-market ordinary passengers.
Wang Flight Systems is organized as four independent limited liability companies, each responsible for a distinct phase of bringing hypersonic civilian transport to market.
The intellectual engine of the program. Every publication, every university collaboration, every federal grant, and every airline development agreement flows through this entity. When airlines and government agencies write checks to advance hypersonic civilian transport, this is who receives them.
The entity that turns validated technology into deliverable aircraft. Intellectual property licensed from the Research Division becomes certified hardware here. When purchase agreements are exercised and delivery slots are confirmed, this is who builds and sells the aircraft. Not yet incorporated.
The entity that makes the aircraft legal to fly. FAA certification programs, airworthiness documentation, and the regulatory relationships that govern civil aviation authority approval worldwide are owned and managed here. No aircraft enters service without this division's sign-off. Not yet incorporated.
The entity that protects the asset value of every aircraft delivered. Maintenance programs, component lifecycle management, and fleet-wide airworthiness from first flight through end of service are executed here. Airlines buying Wang Flight Systems aircraft are buying a support structure, not just a vehicle. Not yet incorporated.
We believe the science that enables civilian aerospace belongs to everyone. Every fundamental result this program produces is to be published in the open literature - no paywalls, no delay, no exceptions. We make manuscripts available on this website as soon as they are ready. The knowledge stays public. Always.
We believe aerospace exists to connect people, not to build weapons. Wang Flight Systems conducts fundamental aerospace research and develops aerospace technology exclusively for civilian applications. There is no defense sponsorship, no classified work, and no research subject to ITAR controls.
